I hope that soniccore will resolve this compatibility problem on 64 bit os. So yes the fact that sts 5000 doesn't work in a 64 bit os is a great mistake from soniccore.īecause the sts5000 is the only digital adat smux 96 khz wav mutitrack hardware sampler of the world! You need to adjust the delay attached to the sample rate and buffer size you use when you tracking (record a bass or guitar with native drum sampler :the result is not the same that you had play when you heard what you record). Native sampler like kontack work with asio, core audio or dae engine witch cause latency attached to the buffer size used: 32 / 64 / 128 /256.Īll latency compensation in: cubase, protools, logic, reaper, ableton live,energyxt doesn't resolve the latency problem.

Sts5000 32 bit doesn't make any latency like an akai s1000 or yamaha a 3000. The bestis still sonic cores synths, fx, mixers a.s.o.

I use the sts,the only virtual hardware sampler working at 96 khz with adat s/mux in the world! CDXTRACT 4 4.5 for Mac can be downloaded from our software library for free. So for using it you need a master clocks generate different master clock (48 khz.96 khz). Sts is not perfect (the filtrers and resonnance not work like other sampler).A3000 is the better for this.īut the only 96 khz hardware sampler is the akai z8 z4 but it doesn't support adat smux for 96 khz. Just have to convert the sondfont in sts to make work the sts well. Old soundfont sound sometimes "crippy" but the new soundfont sound like real synth. If it as is own format for samples it will be more difficult to find free sample.įor sts sample there's 35 gb of free soundfont on internet. I think it will not be easy in the future to find sound for emu esi.
Use midi cc controler probably not easy and have to use (midi cc number). You cannot have multi adat out for mixing the sample in a digital mixer. Honestly, I am not too surprised about the Sonic Core samplers sounding better (I don't remember if I had ever tried them). Oh yeah, The M3 can apparently sample too. If I need one, I'll dust off my fully loaded Emu ESI-32 Turbo. This guarantee that an alternate loop will always be perfectly converted whatever the destination format is.I don't even use samplers. If this sample has an alternate loop then the Virtual sample object will emulate its looping mode and will provide audio data accordingly which means that the player and all the converters don't have to deal with this alternate loop problem, for them it's just a simple forward loop.
